YESTERDAYS HEROES  has a large membership across the north east of england. We are a group of enthusiasts who all share a common interest in the 1940’s which includes the music, fashion, and the military life of men and women during world war II.

We strive to promote the hobby of living history and battle re-enactment.we are dedicated to learning and teaching the contribution all service men and women made during world war II.

We participate in  public living history educational events, school presentations,as well as private re-enactments. We have high standards of presentation and portray many different units, American, British, German and soviet. Not to forget our civilian’s including a Home Front display

Many of our members have military vehicles which are exhibited at events throughout the northeast and as part of our

living history displays.

To the men and women who lost their lives and all who served in combat during

WWII, for you we have the greatest admiration and respect.

Our group have no political or ideological affiliations and simply meet to represent those who took part in one of the worlds darkest periods.
